ASSISTANT STORE MANAGER

Celadon's Assistant Sales Manager will be responsible for supporting the Store Management in achieving strategic short and long-term goals. The ASM will assume store accountability for sales, service, & profitability. Ensure appropriate feedback and guidance is given to execute a high rate of succession and development.

Customer Service Responsibilities:
- Respond to customer complaints and comments daily while maintaining positive customer relations, and all customer inquiries are addressed and properly managed
- Ensure that correct signage is out that reflects current promotion
- Ensure that Marquee gets changed timely
- Ensure the sales floor is always staffed
- Coach sales team to greet all customers and announce the promo
- Coach sales team to circulate the floor and not congregate at the register


Inventory:
- Oversee daily transfers (in and out)
- Utilize Product Knowledge files to identify unknown pieces, tag & sell products correctly
- Complete damage reports as needed (Upholstery Form B reports & Celadon damage reports)
- Complete Cycle Counts as needed
- Assist management team in planning and executing yearly inventory


Team Support:

Overall:
- Support Store Manager in recruiting, hiring, and retaining sales associates
- Lead by example in attitude, action, dress code, and communication style
- Inspire a shared vision by communicating store and company goals to the team
- Share Product Knowledge with the team
- Attend monthly sales meetings, staff meetings, and weekly manager meetings
- Support warehouse, buying, advertising, & accounting teams as needed
- Responsible for maintaining Celadon "brand" and accurate store inventory control
- Touring the sales floor regularly/daily, talking to colleagues and customers, and identifying or resolving urgent issues immediately, efficiently, and successfully.

Sales:
- Drive sales team within the store/outlet to achieve & exceed monthly sales goals
- Positively manage and motivate the sales team to increase sales and ensure efficiency daily
- Support sales team on sales floor with customers
- Support Store Manager in conducting performance reviews & annual reviews of sales associates
- Assist in completing sales associates' schedules when Store Manager is out (as needed)
- Delegate daily tasks to sales associates
- Responsible for coaching conversations & discipline write up to hold sales associates accountable
- Follow up with sales associates to ensure they are completing acknowledgements & customer follow-up accurately and timely
- Generate weekly open order reports, layaway reports, & thank you note reports for sales team

Merchandising & Receiving:
- Support merchandisers & receiver in restocking the floor
- Execute the receiving of merchandise onto the store floor, ensuring all merchandise on the floor is properly priced, tagged, and identified daily
- Participate in merchandising walk-throughs and follow up with merchandiser on plans/tasks
- Ensure store merchandising requirements are accomplished and Celadon standard is maintained
- Assist warehouse staff with furniture placement on weekends/when merchandiser is out
- Complete stock request when the merchandiser is out

Warehouse:
- Assist warehouse team by forwarding completed price sheets to sales staff
- Lead by example with communication and timeliness
- Encourage sales to follow proper procedures at the warehouse when scheduled
- Encourage warehouse staff to properly use email, POS, etc.
- Assist warehouse team in set up for events such as Flea-esta, Farmer's Markets, & Pop-Ups
- Assist in delegation of executing markdowns as needed
- Help warehouse management maintain sold area by auditing sold reports

Operations & Other Responsibilities:
- Responsible for accurate completion of all store opening and closing requirements daily (stock request, drawer count, reports run, files to be submitted, accurate deposit, store recovery, safety, and security of the building)
- Maintain neat and organized front desk, back office, and work stations
- Good attendance and timeliness must be demonstrated on a regular basis
- Adheres to safety and asset protection procedures
- Ensure that Celadon Company Policy and Procedure Requirements are administered (Celadon Handbook)
- Complete weekly supply orders
- Assist Store Manager with daily tasks
- Follow up with sold items on the floor & items on daily Sold/Hold
- Complete audit of all handwritten tags
- Responsible for checking emails & phone messages throughout the day

Qualifications & Skills Required:
- Two or more years retail management experience in a retail environment
- Excellent relationship-building, communication, leadership, and sales skills
- Ability to organize/prioritize tasks necessary to accomplish goals to achieve results
- Must exercise considerable independent judgement and discretion
- Proficient for using a computer for sales input & inventory research
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Ability to regularly bend at the waist, squat, kneel, climb, carry, reach, and stoop. Ability to occasionally push, pull, and lift more than 25 lbs.

MARKETING AND E-COMMERCE MANAGER

Marketing
and eCommerce Manager

Celadon is looking for an organized creative with a passion for storytelling in both word and image.  The right candidate is excited to take on new projects while creating and keeping a working marketing matrix focused on pushing both the brand and scheduled promotions in
tandem. 

An eye for design, fun point of view and ability to match outgoing content with measured sales results and analytics are the key pieces of this role. While this person will report directly to the President, collaborative leadership with the Buying Team will be an integral part of this role. This is a management position in which the person will operate as team lead for the Marketing/Advertising Department.

This is a full-time position which includes a minimum of 40 hours per week. Occasional night and weekend hours during events and trade shows may be required. Travel is both a piece and a perk of this role as needed. 

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead design of all marketing content to be used across all marketing channels (including but not limited to, e-newsletters, event graphics, collateral materials, merch, in-store signage, print ads, and other digital and social graphics as needed)

Create and implement marketing campaigns

Manage all marketing calendars and communicate with organization

Lead creation, management, and posting of all social media channels to engage in and continue to build our online community

Keep website and social media current

Drive brand and marketing strategies

Lead creation and organization of all promotional events, workshops and pop-ups

Manages annual and monthly Advertising Budgets

Measure and report monthly/quarterly/annual impact of Ad Spend

Partners with Buying Team on strategies, needs, sales, growth opportunities, market trends, vendor highlights and partnership opportunities

Lead and/or execute photo and video shoots

Responsible for scheduling and/or
executing consistent photography of new containers/shipments at warehouse, accessories for website, and other inventory items as needed

Act as point of contact for all outside advertising partnerships and collaborations

Act as point of contact for all third party (PR/Marketing/WebDevelopment) vendors related to Marketing/Advertising

Report monthly analytics on Social
Media Platforms, Website an eNewsletter

Leads promotion and collateral of all Trade Programs

Spearheads partnerships with designers/influencers/tastemakers/customers to create community-engaging content

Attend community/industry events
