DESCRIPTION
Made in the small village of Tamegroute in the Draa Valley of Southern Morocco at the edge of the Sahara. The pottery takes its name from the village, and is made completely by hand using clay from nearby riverbeds. The same few families have been crafting Tamegroute pottery for centuries. The glazes, shapes and textures of each bowl and plate and planter are stunning in their subtle variety.
