Ledbury + Celadon = Pop-Up Shop Success!
We are – back – from the other side of the world (not quite – back – to normal…12-14 hour time warp). We have lots to share from must do’s in Singapore to beautiful ornate kites from Malaysia…it was a really good trip with lots to see and many new findings…so stay tuned….
On the homefront…the weekend (although wet) wrapped a successful Charleston Fashion Week. Despite the soggy weather complete with Crosstown closing floods, the town was buzzing with all sorts of events, designers, bloggers, fashion lovers & fun havers.
Celadon was excited to work in collaboration with Ledbury on their Pop-Up Shop staged (in the AMAZING space that used to be Biton) on the corner of King & Wentworth downtown. Ledbury is a menswear company out of Richmond, VA, spear-headed by two young guys Post-Oxford Grad School with the predicament of finding a great fitting shirt. You can read more about their story here. Very cool company! They have recently been doing Pop-Ups cross-country (love the look of this one with Nomadic Trading Co – you know we love a cool overwashed rug)!
Aside super good lookin’ men’s shirts, the company has a killer aesthetic that is clean, masculine, sure of itself and has established quite the cult following in the social media world. They have a great blog, where they captured people & places in Charleston in real time. Their was a great piece on The Ordinary (Chef Mike Lata’s (of FIG) newest endeavor). It is a restaurant not to miss (amazing use of an old bank space)!
Well, we loved working with the folks at Ledbury to furnish their temporary home on King St., and were honored that they thought of us for the job. They took some time to catch-up with Celadon and our favorite owner, Steve Lesniak. He’s so cool. Check out the interview as well as some good shots from Celadon & the Pop-Up on there blog here.
