    Warehouse Assistant Manager

    Celadon is seeking only the best Leader to partner with the fabulous Celadon team. We are seeking an Assistant Warehouse Manager, multi -site with an entrepreneurial spirit, strong work ethic, excellent coaching & mentoring skills with a needs of the business mindset to lead our Warehouse team and operations. The assistant warehouse manager will partner with the warehouse manager and store sales manager. As a supervisor in the field, this position will be hands on with daily main store fulfillment and driving our 26’ box truck.

    Duties required but not limited to:  


    • Load and transport inventory to the main store 
    • Lead and motivate your team member to stay efficient and detail oriented 
    • Ensuring that all merchandise is wrapped and handled with care 
    • Maintain Quality control and Efficiency standards 
    • Quality control- ensuring our product is being handled with care, being wrapped appropriately and delegating team members to do so when it is not. 
    • Scanning all paperwork to the admin dept in a timely manner 
    • Completing damage reports, including images, and emailing in a timely fashion 
    • Ensuring that all items in back stock are labeled and legible for the sales staff to find if needed 
    • Ensuring all transfers leaving the warehouse are correct 
    • Ensuring the restrooms stay cleaned and restocked for all outlet days 
    • Checking email daily when scheduled 
    • Communicate efficiently and effectively with the main store on a daily basis 


    • Provide assistance to the sales associate scheduled on outlet days, including handling sales and providing customers with assistance 
    • Ensuring all tagging is correct and visible, able to delegate sales staff to do the same 
    • Aid in the completion of upholstery reports and discontinued reports 
    • Supporting the warehouse for sales and operation during flea market days 

    Leading the team 

    • Monitoring timeliness and lunch breaks 
    • Encouraging/enforcing staff to maintain scheduled hours 
    • Ensuring that excessive over time is not incurring for the warehouse team 
    • Daily To-Do list completion 


    • Valid driver’s license (Insurance approval required)
    • Exceptional customer service
    • Proficient Experience with computerized systems (word, excel, email, POS, etc)
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Knowledge of legal/safety requirements of operating a warehouse
    • People management skills, including the ability to lead and motivate others, delegate work and explain ideas
    • Analytical ability
    • Initiative and decisiveness
    • Problem solving skills and ability to work on a tactical and strategic level
    • The ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
